In order to prevent the spread of communicable diseases and to ensure rapid recovery with a minimum of after-effects, children should be kept out of school when they have the symptoms indicating that such a condition exists. Whenever possible, the school will notify parents of known exposure of their child to a communicable disease.
Children who are ill with any communicable disease may be excluded from school and may be required to bring a doctor’s certificate on return indicating that their illness is no longer communicable.
Saint Anne School will comply with New York State Department of Health guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
If a child becomes ill or meets with an accident during the school day, every attempt will be made to contact the parents. Please be sure that the office has on file such necessary information as the home, cell, and business telephone numbers, and the name and telephone number of a person to be called in the event the child’s parent or guardian cannot be reached.
Mask Policy:
All students, faculty, staff, and visitors will be required to wear a CDC-approved face covering whenever they are moving about the building or in the classroom.
Neck gaiters, open chin triangle bandanas, and costume masks are not allowed.
Student face coverings must be of a solid color and may not include any logos besides the St. Anne’s School logo.
Mask breaks will be scheduled during the day.
Students will have a 6-foot distance during lunch so they can remove masks.
All adults who enter the building must supply and wear a cloth mask or face covering that covers their nose and mouth.
Students are asked to supply their own mask or face covering. We will maintain a supply of extra masks for students.
Health Screening: All parents must complete the health screening for their students prior to sending them to school each day. This is completed on the Pick-up Patrol App. updated 8/2020
