Students, you can look forward to an engaging year full of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The seventh grade English Language Arts curriculum cements the skills built in elementary school and provides a structured yet supportive environment in which the student can realize his or her potential as a reader, writer, thinker, and speaker. Students work on literary and informational texts and write routinely in the narrative, explanatory, and argumentative styles. Students develop their speaking and active listening skills.
