In all we do, the safety of our children is a top priority.  To ensure a safe environment is provided, the diocese requires that all parish and school volunteers comply with the following four requirements:
Complete an Application for Volunteer Service, Sign a Release for a Background Check, Review and Sign the Code of Conduct form, Attend VIRTUS Training

Only those parents who are in full compliance with the above requirements will be permitted to volunteer in the lunchroom and/or at school events, attend classroom activities and parties, chaperone field trips, etc.

For your convenience, VIRTUS training sessions will be held at St. Anne's on Friday, October 5th at 9:30am in the rectory basement and Tuesday, October 9th at 7:30pm in the school cafeteria.

to register online for VIRTUS training. You may attend a session of your choice at any parish.  Walk-ins are not permitted

Registration, Release and Code of Conduct forms are available in the St. Anne's Parish Office or by clicking here
.  All completed forms and a copy of the VIRTUS completion certificate must be submitted to the St. Anne's Parish Office to be deemed in compliance with the policy.

The training session is entitled “Protecting God’s Children”. The goal of VIRTUS training is to empower adults by raising their awareness of the signs of child sexual abuse and by suggesting practices to prevent abuse.
